in 1900 in with parents in Elwood City, PA, 1910 student in Youngstown OH, 1920 Columbia PA, 1930 816 Richford St. (where William and Della Newell were neighbors at 818 -- Bill Newell was clerk at Zeigler Lumber).
from Lois' notes: "Dad says -- Moved to Elwood in 1895 (town only 3 or 4 yrs old). Lived in apartment of 7 rooms above dry good store. In spring of 1899 moved 2 blocks back to Park Ave. Foru doors from our new home was a dwelling known as Northwood Houhse. Street got name from grove of young trees of about 4 city blocks. 2.5 blocks to intersection with 9th ST. at the foot of an abrupt hill. On this hill were 2 rows of Company houses. Glass house along R.R. at the foot of 10th St."

Manufacturing lumber and building supplies, doing planing mill work, making all articles manufactured from wood, buying, selling, trading and dealing in any kind of' timber, lumber and building supplies, contracting for the erection of buildings, and the transaction of such other business as may be necessary in the proper conduct of the aforesaid business of said corporation."
